The following week, Lou's appointment with the female driving instruct

The following week, Lou's appointment with the female driving instructor was postponed due to her tight schedule and substituted with two other interviews, with the enrolment clerk and a female student.
The enrolment clerk, Mira, had been working with the driving school for almost five years. She managed the enrolment of students and prepared monthly reports. The school offers a variety of courses so she would draw up each driving lessons course, complete with explanation and fees. She went on to explain the three most popular types in her school. The refresher driving lessons course is recommended for those with valid driving licences but have not driven for some time, while the intensive or crash driving lessons course is for those who wish to learn about driving within a short period of time, and lastly, the traditional weekly and hourly driving lessons course.
Lou asked a few obligatory questions - he was not keen on her. Mira, though a young attractive woman, was very serious and did not respond to his charms. She stared icily at him and ignored his flattery; at one point she told him bluntly to proceed with the interview, and not waste her time on small talk. The session lasted about half an hour; Lou packed up his notes and waited for the next person.
Pam Sue walked into the meeting room; she reminded Lou of his wife, Ivy. Plump and well-fed was the first impression he had of her. However she looked professional and her clothes and accessories exuded money and class. Lou turned on his charms, and Pam Sue reacted to his flattery, getting more garrulous with time.
Pam Sue had started with the school two weeks ago. She had initially wanted to enroll for only 10 lessons, but the instructor was so professional that she signed up for the forty-hour driving lessons course. As to the costs, the lessons were considerably cheap, given the quality and proficiency of the school. Of course she enjoyed the lessons; she had the utmost compliments for the driving instructor, praising his skills and his mode of instruction.
Pam Sue began to tell Lou about her work, interest and life. The interview lasted for more than an hour, and Lou had apparently taken down a lot of notes. Pam Sue went away, feeling immensely pleased with herself. Lou walked off with bits of information that he filed away just in case he had any future get-rich plans that he could fit Pam Sue into.
