I was just driving home from work one day, when it happened. I was eating a turkey sandwich while driving and I accidentally dropped some turkey on my shirt. I looked down to pick it up when suddenly there was a very large vibration all throughout the car. The airbags were set off and my face and my turkey sandwich went straight into one. I had gotten myself into a car crash. It was my first crash ever, and I didn't really know what was happening. The only thing I knew was that my turkey sandwich was ruined.

So after the crash a couple of things happened. A rubbish skip hire was called to clean up the car fragments, and I was ordered to take two weeks of motoring lessons. I was not very happy with this. I already had work, and now I had to go to motoring lessons every day. And besides, it wasn't even my fault that I got into an accident! I may have been not paying attention but the other guy ran a red light! I may have been hit even if I had been paying attention!

The first couple days of motoring lessons were awful. I was in the class with a bunch of teenagers who didn't know anything about driving. It was very embarrassing. The instructor was talking about things I already knew. I didn't even know why I was there. It was just dumb.

One day the instructor made everyone stand up and tell why they were in the class. I of course blamed it on the other guy, and everyone snickered. The instructor looked at me and said, "A car accident is never only one person's fault."

I rolled my eyes. "OK, then blame it on my turkey sandwich." Everyone cracked up. I may have been the oldest one in there, but I was becoming the class clown.

After the two weeks were up, I was able to get back on the road again. Now I never eat while driving. Especially turkey sandwiches. Believe me, they may seem harmless. But behind the wheel, they are a death threat.
