While in Tokyo for eighteen months working my parents decided to leave me under the supervision of my awesome big brother. Their jobs require them to travel often and I never wanted to leave my home and my friends. I was always acing the classes I would take as apart ofthe agreement of letting me live with my brotherandmyparents even took awaythe car they had bought for him, they said it wasinsurance. If I got hurt, that car would be headed of to the junk yard.I was so happy, my brother never tried to keep from certain possibly dangerous activities because I was a girl, he just wanted me to have fun. For my sixteenth birthday he even bought me my very own motorbike. This gift was my brother and I refer to as "under the table" which basically means that my parents are not meant to know about it. We had always done "under the table" things because throughout my whole life my big brother was basically my best friend. He had a motorbike when he was my age and he used to take me places on it all the time.

You see my brother is twelve years older then me. I am sixteen and he is twenty eight and works for an insurance company. He also teaches classes at the local driving school. We have always had a different brother sister relationship than most others. He was always the cool older brother who was okay with it if I wanted to hang out with him, who knew all of my friends names, who would give me a secret motorbike lesson at the park ever Sunday afternoon when I was only twelve, andask me how my classes were that day.He was always the person I aspired to be like in every way. And he will forever be my hero.

Whats funny is that I always considered him a rebel and when I found out he was working at an insurance company I thought he had suddenly turned soft on me. For a brief moment I thought I lost my cool big brother.
