We are moving to a bigger better garage very soon. The new building is almost ready to start moving. The new equipment that been on order and some of the old equipment still here will have to be shipped over as well. Looking into the cheapest skip hire for all of the debris we will have once we have it all done has been a challenge. There isn't a local business thatcanhandle it and those that will come out here are so far away, they will tack on extra fees for miles, plus the extra delay for removal because of the route schedules will change to get a driver all the way out here. Pass the buck on I say, but that's hard to do when no work is being done right now; with this transition going on from one shop to the other.
My biggest dilemma is getting this classic car and motorbike out of the way and into a safe place until the entire move is complete. This classic car is ready to be moved of course, but it's not ready to be sent home either. I can't have anything happen to this master piece and have to pay for it. Pass that bridge when we come to it I suppose. The motorbike is worth a fortune as well but the owner is coming for it tomorrow and will be out of the way of any harm we could do to it. Tom Seagrass was on the answering machine today when I got here, letting us know he was having his motorbike picked up bynoon tomorrow. That is one more thing I can make a line across this list of things to get done before the classic car issue is dealt with.
Time will pass and we will still have this car to deal with. If I have to I can always put it on a trailer and park it out behind my home until the shop is all settled in and I can take it over there. It is an issue I have worried too much about. The Dr. will just have to understand if it's not there for him to peek at for a couple of weeks. At least we know it will be in a safe place.
