Mandy sighed. It's going to take weeks before she can clean out her garage. It was so filled with everything she disposed off for the entire year, she did not even know where to start sorting trash from things she can still use. And to top it off, she still has not started looking for the cheapest skip hire so she could get rid of the garbage she's going to unearth from her garage.

It's going to be a week before the kids she invited over for tutoring start knocking on her door. She wants to convert the garage into a study area where she can teach those kids. She just wanted those kids to pass school and catch up with their lessons in school. Most of these kids are homeless and some of them came from the poorest part of town. Whenever she saw them on the streets, begging or looking for odd jobs, her heart ached. Before summer started, she just had this brilliant idea. She was going to educate those kids. She didn't take a teaching course in college for nothing. She is a writer and she just released a book. She wanted to go on vacation but she figured it would be much better for her to put her idea to work. At least, she's helping. She got to know some of these kids and it just kills her to know that most of them really want to go to school but they couldn't afford it. She went to work designing a simple course that she could follow for the entire summer.

She has already spoken to ten kids and they agreed to go to her house and spend two hours each day taking reading and writing lessons from her. She knew the course she designed was simple enough for the kids to understand yet is loaded with fun and small games to keep them attentive throughout and learn the lessons behind the games. She promised them that if each of them pass the quizzes she's going to give them, they would each get a prize. And then if any of them pass the final exam, she would give something special to that kid.

She knows she's going to be happy this entire summer. She's not only helping these kids but she hopes that these kids would be inspired to pursue their education.
